Thanks Neil. Most of the B&W images here were converted in Lightroom. I do also use Nik Silver Efex Pro for some B&W conversion.

Aravind. I got your link from Bobby Tan. Glad I did as you have some very nice shots. I really liked your use of BW for the African animals. What are your main BW conversion tools?

My jaw dropped at I saw your first images in your "avian" series. It dropped even lower as I saw the next few.
By the time I got to the end, I had to pick several jaw fragments off the floor.

Getting through this site as was a slooow (but deeply pleasurable) process... I had to stop so many times to try and drink in the finer details of the beauty and majesty of the birds you've so generously shared with us.
