No shoot at Bandon Beach so far has been the same. The combination of tide, clouds, fog, and light have made each shoot and hence the resulting images very different. This morning we had great conditions for sunrise color and I decided to stay put, revisiting a composition from earlier but hoping for color. As it got closer to sunrise, the wind picked up and the water I was using as a reflection went from absolutely still to wavy, making the reflection I was looking for impossible. Undeterred, I threw on a heavy ND filter and went for a long exposure which smoothed out the ripples but also then captures some of the movement in the cloud.
