I've been sitting on this image wondering just how well it works for me for a couple of months now. I was drawn the to the scene and composed it to have layers of light, shadow and lichen all with curves leading up to that funky curvy tree. In those months, the composition has continued to grow on me and it's becoming one of my favorite images from the Bay of Fires.
