Sally Lightfoot Crab - 1D4, 70-200 @ 123mm, f/5.6, 1/125s, ISO 800

My buddy Andy Biggs is posting pictures from the Galapagos all week, and so I've this one on the post-processing back burner for a while and figured it was time to finish it up.  We went to the Galapagos in 2010 with Andy on a photo trip and it was a blast.  Lots of photography and snorkeling good times.  This was one of the last images I made on the trip, on the last stop, the island of Española.  Though the Waved Albatross are the delight of the island, the Galapagos is a place for opportunistic photography, and with the bright colors of the Sally Lightfoot Crab, its always a fun subject.
